Love Covers
Love Covers is a small group within the Quilters’ Guild of East Texas that focuses on making quilts, stuffed animals, dolls, and pillows for charities.
Love Covers has donated items to local charities such as Rainbow Room http://www.gtcp.org/rainbowroom_detail.asp?ID=101
Tyler Day Nursery http://www.gower.net/Community/tdn/ ,
police and fire departments, crisis centers, and
a disabled boys’ home. http://www.andrewscenter.com/ddhomes.htm
Quilts have also been sent to distant charities such as Mexican orphanages, Project Linus http://www.projectlinus.org/index.html , ABC Quilts http://www.americanmothers.org/?q=node/14 , and those affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
